Engineering
 Global Stencil is committed to the latest
in CAD/CAM Engineering techniques and software. We currently
utilize several CAD/CAM packages as each has unique strengths.
Some of the packages used are GerbTool by Wise Software, GC-CAM and
GC-PLACE by Graphicode, and CAM350 by Innoveda, Inc.
As previously
announced, we have also added the Valor Trilogy software package to our
list of tools. We are very excited about the capabilities offered
by this tool. Extensive automation scripts have been written to
aid in eliminating 'human error' caused by manual data editing and
greatly speeding our editing process.
The greatest strength of this package is in its ability to
automatically identify component footprints and compare them to
libraries of footprints sorted by customer part types or board type.
If there is a difference between the footprints, the modified footprint
may be used. Over time, we will be able to establish guidelines
with each customer so that we can introduce additional automation based
on customer-specific data. |
