say that obtaining and maintaining ISO 9001:2000 certification is only
"a lot of paperwork". Here at Global Stencil, ISO 9001:2000 procedures
guide us in a daily effort of continuous improvement. The procedures
carefully lead us in determining the quality of our product and services
and nudge us when improvements are needed. Our ISO 9001:2000 system is a
way of life. Global Stencil initially achieved this status on June 22,
2001. Upon completion of the recertification audit, TUV Essen issued
Registration Certificate No. 02-1097 on August 16, 2002. to our company.

is a third party consulting company that continues to be our partner in
maintaining an effective and compliant system.
One of the many results of this process has been the
reduction of returns from customers. Before beginning this process,
customer returns were unacceptably high. We are happy to report that we
are consistently achieving an average of 3% or less, and have recently
achieved 2% returns. Although no returns from customers are acceptable,
we are making great strides in achieving the goal of zero defects. In
the end, our customers win with reduced costs and on time, correct
stencils.
As our Customer Service Manual and quality system
evolve and mature, we will continue to provide improved products and
services. Quality and service are consistently discussed and remain at
